We are in the chemical phase of evolution, where chemicals are used in every industry, for nearly every product, and in a plethora of ways to produce products, clothing and shelter for people. The problem is that chemical fumes from the products, clothing and shelters continuously off-gas until the chemical fumes are expended, which could take six months or more.

Sometimes the off-gassing from furniture is so extreme that the room stinks from the chemicals. If nothing is done to eliminate the off-gassing, the people who live in that room will breathe in the chemical off-gassing.

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) are contaminants that may be found in homes and buildings, paint, carpets, furniture, equipment, printers and fax machines, nail polish and polish remover, cleaning supplies, anything that is glued together and anything with chemical ingredients. It is also ideal for VOCs emitted from new carpeting, painting, furniture, remodeling, new electronic equipment, plastics, nail or hair salon products, or other businesses with VOC and chemical emission problems, and it comes with a 2" HEPA filter for particulate.

AP-C600 26 LB Carbon $799.95

The Airpura AP-C600 is specifically designed to deal with over 4000 chemicals, VOCs and their odors with its hefty 26 lb. activated carbon (13" x 13" x 7.5") with 570 square inches of surface space to adsorb airborne chemicals, gases, VOCs and odors. The greater the surface space the more effective the chemical adsorbtion. The large mass of carbon chosen offers the best dwell time needed for best chemical and odor removal. The 560 cfm impeller/motor combined with the variable speed control and unimpeded airflow of the Airpura 600 series allows you to set the airflow precisely and achieve the results you need. Also, the C600 has a HEPA-Barrier post filter for carbon dust and particles. The Airpura AP-C600 is an excellent choice for offices and businesses with chemical or VOC pollution and for homes with new construction or remodeling, new furniture, floors, painting, etc.

If cigar or tobacco smoke is the problem, choose the Airpura AP-T600, which is specifically designed to deal with cigarrette, cigar and pipe smoke and over 4000 chemicals, VOCs and their odors with its hefty 26 lb. activated carbon (13" x 13" x 7.5") with 570 square inches of surface space to adsorb airborne chemicals, gases, VOCs and odors.
