Residential and Light Smoke Contamination
The following technologies work well with a single smoker who smokes up
to two packs a day or for two people who smoke a pack a day each,
assuming all smoking per day is not done at the same location. These
models also work well for people who do not smoke, but have neighbors,
friends or family who do.
Surround Multi-Tech Ionizer Model XJ-3000 C and D
Surround
Ionizers are multi-technology that include ionization, a prefilter, a
HEPA and carbon filter and UV lamp. The XJ-3000C and Xj3000D include
an optional ozone sanitizer. It is the programmable ozone sanitizer that
is especially effective in removing smoke odors and chemicals. We have
had great success with these two models solving cigarette odor problem,
especially if the unit is located

The
Air Oasis 5000 air purifier is a commercial unit, but still available
to the public. This unit contains two 9 inch AHPCO Cells and two fans.
High speed engages both fans, while low engages only one fan. The Air
Oasis 5000 has the strength of two Air Oasis ACT 9" Induct
units, but is in a portable case. This unit produces up to 3.87 ppm
of ozone. It you want more ozone, pick the NO Metal Catalyst option.
This unit is only recommended for commercial places with high pollution;
for instance, smoky bars and restaurants with 6 or more concurrent smokers,
large nail salons doing a high volume of acrylic nails, large kennels
with 25 or more animals. It should be hung from the ceiling or mounted
